Cream of Potato & Mushroom Soup
1 med. onion - chopped1 med carrot- chopped1/4 cup celery - chopped2 Tbls. butter OR margarine4 med. potatoes - peeled, diced1 cup vegetable broth or water1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley OR 2 Tbls. dried parsley1/4 tsp. ground thyme1/2 tsp garlic powder or 2 cloves minced salt and pepper - to taste1 1/2 cups milk mixed with 2 Tbls. all-purpose flour
-In a 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, cook onions, carrots and celery, mushroomsin butter until soft.-Add potatoes, parsley, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to saucepan; simmer for 15 minutes over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally.-Stir milk/flour mixture into the saucepan.-Potatoes and vegetables will cook down and thicken the soup-Simmer soup, stirring often, until thickened.
PS can add 1 cup canned/frozen corn

Kookoo sabzi
2 eggs
3-5 dried dates or raisins
1/4C walnuts
1/2c Sabzi polo
Mix all ingredients together. fry in a pan on med-hi until you can flip it.
let other side cook for a couple minutes.
Good for breakfast or supper

Mix dried dill, cilantro, chives, and paresly together.

French fries
4-5 med potatoes
spices: garlic powder, curry, garlic pepper etc
salt and pepper
Slice up potatoes anyway. put in bag and add spices.
put on pan and bake at 400 for 20-30 minutes.

Slice chicken breast lengthwise, about 1 cm or more thick.
put in bag. add desired spices, salt, and bread crumbs.
shake up until completely covered.
put on pan and bake for 10-15 min at 400C
serve with French fries and veggies.

Chicken chickpeas
1/2C rice
1 big potato
6 mushrooms
1C cooked/canned chickpeas (or other beans)
1 onion
1C chicken or turkey chopped
1 Green onion
2 garlic cloves chopped
1/2C tomato sauce
spices like: turmeric, curry, pepper
salt
Make polo
fry onion in larger pan until golden brown.
add chopped potatoes
add mushrooms and garlic and let cook for 3 min
add chicken and spices. stir and put the lid on. let cook for a few minutes.
add tomato sauce and out lid on and let simmer until potatoes and chicken are cooked throughly.
add rice and chickpeas to the rest of the pan. let simmer for a few minutes.
enjoy

1/3 cup lentils
1/2 cup tomato sauce or crushed tomato
1 onion (finely chopped or shredded)
1 cup chopped beef or chicken or turkey
Suggested Spices: Currey, black or chili pepper, garlic and turmeric
salt
put polo on
rinse lentils and put them in a pot. Add water and bring to boil and let simmer for about 20 minutes.
Fry the onions in a pan until golden.
Add meat and spices, stir for about a min to mix things up then put the lid and let the meat cook. when the meat gives away its juice add the tomato sauce and stir for about 5 minutes. add a little water if necessary.
Rinse the cooked lentils and add them to polo and add the meat sauce and mix everything together
Put the lid on (if you have a drying cloth use it) and let the content in the pot cook about 10 min on low heat.

Spinach rice mix up
1 pk chopped spinach
1/2c rice
5-6 prunes
1 chicken breast
onions
salt
turmeric
pepper
spices like Cajun, curry, tandoori or garam masala
Cook rice until almost done.
Fry onions until golden brown. chop chicken into chunks and fry with onions and what ever spices.
Add spinach and cook until tender.
add prunes and mix with rice.
cover and let sit for a few minutes
enjoy yumness
